ACCESS

ACCESS is a team composed of interdisciplinary members focused on solving real medical problems and closely works with real medical professionals to help communities in need locally and globally. The team is currently reframing their mission and changing their current project for a new one. The team will still focus on research and design, but will work and adjust their goals for the new term.

Aquafier

Aquafier raises awareness about the impacts of inadequate drinking water quality in remote Indigenous communities. Aquafier team will be UBC’s first-ever team to attend the Canadian National Water Treatment Competition, which will help gain further insights and skills in water treatment. Through collaboration and design, our mission is to develop small-scale water treatment solutions that are practical and sustainable.

Youth Venture

Youth Venture strives to change how education is presented within our community around the Greater Vancouver area and expose students to real-world situations. Try to bring alternative perspectives to teachers and students to shape their views on engineering and the university experience and give students the pathways to put ideas into action. In Youth Venture, members are able to gain knowledge about sustainability and education practices while having the opportunity to work on their presentation and public speaking skills.
